A to Z: Brownsburg and Cascade Championship Weekend
The Brownsburg Bulldogs are the 6A IHSAA state champions for the second year in a row, while the Cascade Cadets are the 3A IHSAA state champions for the first time.
Now that the 2025 high school football season has concluded with the playing of the championship games this past weekend, here is a look back at our Hendricks County Champions, Cascade and Brownsburg, from A to Z.

I is for interceptions. A Michael Langley interception sealed the Cascade win in the final game.

K is for kickoff. Brownsburg's Brandon Sharpe returned a kickoff for 99 yards, a 6A title game kickoff return record touchdown.
L is for the line of scrimmage. Chain gangs had a hard time keeping up with fast pace of Cascade to get the line of scrimmage marked before the Cadets could hike the football.
M is for Mink. Dayton Mink of Cascade was a bulldozer of a running back and led the Cadets in rushing yardage, adding a huge sack in the final game.
