Cascade Grad Earns Gold at Special Olympics USA

At last week’s football game, the Mill Creek Community School Corporation took a moment to recognize an outstanding former cheerleader and Cascade graduate, Tori Turner.

Turner recently competed in the Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis, Minnesota, representing Indiana in Women’s Powerlifting. Her hard work and dedication paid off as she returned home with an impressive collection of medals.

She earned gold in the squat, gold in the deadlift, bronze in the bench press, and silver overall.

Her accomplishments were celebrated by the community during the August 28 football game.
