Stars Shine in Fundraising Dance Competition
The Hendricks Power Expo Hall on the 4-H Fairgrounds was transformed into Casino Royale as ladies in sparkling gowns and gentlemen in tailored tuxedoes took chance on raising funds for the Hendricks County Historical Museum at the 11th annual Dancing With the Hendricks County Stars.
From the Waltz to the West Coast Swing, amateur dancers were paired with professionals for their turn in the spotlight. Emcees Nina Koehler and Jay Puckett keep the show flowing. The judges, Harish Nair, Todd Travis and Barb Lineinger had their work cut out for them. Dinner was catered by The Coachman.
This year’s dancers were: Jonathan Bailey, Mo Childs, Karsen Cram, Beth Ford, John Goings, Evan Love, Dr. Anita Mazdai, Sherry Sichting, Philip Tran, Amy Watson and Jessica Wilson.
The funds help the Hendricks Historical Museum preserve and display items that tell the story of our history. The Museum is housed in the 1866 Sheriff’s Residence and Jail at 170 S. Washington in Danville.
