The front page -  it often serves as a gateway for the rest of the paper.

Though she's not a Hendricks County native, Isabella grew up right next door in Putnam County. Before joining The Republican, in August of 2023, Isabella spent a summer in Phoenix as a Pulliam Fellow for The Arizona Republic. With a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Illinois, this Lead Reporter has always had a passion for serving people through her words. Whether she’s out covering the county, networking, or interviewing over a cup of coffee, Isabella finds excitement in the spontaneity that comes with her job, while still appreciating a well balanced schedule.

When she’s not out playing the role of a curious journalist, she can be found at home cooking in the kitchen, outside reading a book, or on a walk with her dog, Peanut.
